Catalysts for Social Action is an Indian non-profit organisation committed to improving the lives of children in institutional care and young care leavers. We aim to create a nation where vulnerable children receive care, protection, and opportunities to grow. Through our programs, we collaborate with government and non-government stakeholders to support children and care leavers towards their rehabilitation and social reintegration.

Our History
Catalysts for Social Action undertakes the development of a Child Care Institution under the program model for a period of 3-7 years depending on the kind of intervention required on the ground level.
2002-2005
Inception launch the adoption helpline to link orphan children from rural areas to prospective par- ents in urban areas
2006-2010
First media coverage in the Times of India Listed on Give India & Credibility Alliance
Awarded 'The Best Small NGO' by Resource Alliance CSA met Prime Minister of India and submitted a petition seeking reviewof childcare practices in India CSA commenced work CCIs in Goa
2016
Launched 'Aftercare and Bridge to Livelihood program
2018
Trained 1970+ Anganwadi workers on adoption the process & how to identify children in need of support 122 children supported under the 'Aftercare & Livelihood program for higher education & skill training 39 youth placed in jobs with a fixed monthly remuneration
2020
#CSAUdaan2020-Our first-ever virtual fundraising event Launched the Digital Engagement Program 000 youth supported in under the Aftercare Program Partnered with 87 CCls across Maharashtra, Goa, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh
2022
We are a Great place to work certified organization. Signed a 5-year MoU with the state of Madhya Pradesh to partner with the Government to strengthen child protection systems.
Our Presence
CSA has a Presence in 90+ districts across
5 states i.e. Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya
Pradesh, Odisha and Karnataka.
CSA is currently working 4100+ children
across 102 Chid care institutions
